The field is a park on two elevation levels, built at the confluence of the Tanaro and Stura rivers, which protects an uncontaminated natural habitat. The alluvial terrain is well-drained, allowing for regular play even when it rains.
The rich vegetation includes more than 1500 large trees, especially oaks and pines, which have been carefully surveyed, bordering all fairways and framing the greens. The paths are frequented by numerous species of fauna, including roe deer, herons, ducks, and cormorants. Eagles circle at low altitude to monitor movement in the fields.
There are lakes and streams on nine holes, making the course's challenges varied and stimulating for players of all levels. The lake is home to large grass carp and turtles that help clean up the water.
